WALDEN SAVINGS BANK ANNOUNCES THREE NEW OFFICER APPOINTMENTS

Walden Savings Bank is proud to announce the promotion of three talented individuals to key leadership roles within the organization. These appointments reflect the Bank’s commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and leadership within the team.
Michael Snyder Promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Michael Snyder has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, after serving as Vice President & CFO. Since joining the bank in May of 2018, Snyder has been instrumental in the financial stewardship of the organization. Active in the community, he serves as Treasurer for Hudson Valley Honor Flight and is a member of the Walden Rotary. Snyder is a graduate of Leadership Orange and was inducted into its Hall of Fame, in addition to being recognized as an Orange County Junior League Rising Star.
Nichole Moretto Promoted to Vice President, Deposits Operations
Nichole Moretto has been promoted to Vice President, Deposits Operations Manager from her previous role as Assistant Vice President. Moretto has been with the Bank for nearly 19 years, joining in April of 2006. She is deeply involved in the Bank’s community and internal initiatives. She is a graduate of Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress and holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Moretto also received the Junior League Rising Star award three years ago in recognition of her leadership and commitment to community service.
Abigail Doyle Promoted to Assistant Vice President & Marketing Manager
Abigail Doyle has been promoted to Assistant Vice President & Marketing Manager. Doyle has been with the Bank since October of 2015, and will celebrate her 10th anniversary this fall. She provides critical support to the Bank’s leadership team and plays a key role in shaping the Bank’s marketing strategy. Outside of the Bank, Doyle serves on the Vision Hudson Valley Board, as well as several other nonprofit committees. In 2024, Doyle received the Junior League Rising Star Award and is a recent graduate of Leadership Orange.
