WALDEN SAVINGS BANK PARTICIPATES IN REPRESENTATIVE SEAN PATRICK MALONEY’S VALENTINES FOR VETERANS
Employees and customers of Walden Savings Bank for the second year in a row participated in Representative Sean Patrick Maloney’s “Valentines for Veterans” initiative. More than 1,000 cards were presented to John Tegeler, Director, Veterans’ and Military Advocate to Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, Friday, February 10th at the Bank’s headquarters in Montgomery. “We couldn’t be more appreciative of our veterans’ service to our country and the sacrifices they’ve made for our freedom,” said Derrik R. Wynkoop, President and CEO of Walden Savings Bank. “Walden Savings Bank was happy to aid with Congressman Maloney’s effort, and we hope these cards bring a smile to our veterans’ faces.” The valentines were delivered to veterans at Castle Point VA Hospital in Wappingers Falls on February 13th, just in in time to let their recipients know they’re cared about on the official holiday of love. Religious education students from Holy Name of Mary – Assumption Church in Montgomery also assisted with the project.
