The health and safety of Walden Savings Bank customers and employees are our top priority, and we are committed to transparent communications.


On March 17, 2020, an employee at our Washingtonville branch experienced symptoms related to the Covid 19 Coronavirus and was subsequently quarantined. We’ve been notified that today, March 25, 2020 this individual has tested positive for the Covid 19 Coronavirus. Customers who visited this location should consider seeking medical guidance.

That employee, now receiving medical attention, continues being quarantined. Other employees at this location who also were quarantined are consulting their healthcare providers as an additional safety measure. The branch was closed for two days to be professionally cleaned and sanitized, and Walden Savings Bank has enhanced cleaning and sanitization measures at all locations, where drive-through and ATM services are available.

Thankfully, we have received no word of any other illnesses, and we will keep you informed of any changes.
