Walden Savings Bank Welcomes Catherine Hunter

Walden Savings Bank announced that Campbell Hall resident Catherine Hunter has been appointed Branch Manager of the Bank’s Circleville location. In this position, Hunter will provide oversight for the branch’s overall operations, business development, product sales and customer service. Hunter joins Walden Savings Bank with over 37 years of banking experience in a managerial role. “Cathie is a seasoned leader with a successful background in sales and customer service,” said President and CEO Derrik Wynkoop. “Her experience providing staff guidance and fostering strong client relationships have prepared her for success in this role.” Prior to joining Walden Savings Bank, Hunter served as Vice President, Branch Manager at Orange County Trust Company in Chester. Additionally, Hunter held several management positions at KeyBank National Association’s Warwick, Chester and Newburgh branches. An active community member, Hunter served as board officer for the Warwick Lions Club, Warwick Rotary Club, Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center and Chester Kiwanis Club. She is a Leadership Orange class of 2002 graduate. Hunter holds an Associate degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Marist College. “Walden Savings Bank is truly a community bank,” said Hunter. “I am excited to join a team that both understands and serves the needs of residents in the Hudson Valley.”
